The Golden Memories Show

I am pleased to announce that I have now joined the team at Surf Radio International.

Surf Radio Website

From 31st July they broadcast my "Golden Memories" show. It can be heard on Sundays at 7.00pm UK time, 20.00hrs Central European time.

The programme consists of an eclectic mix of music drawn from the past 40 to 50 years, but from a pan-european playlist. Features of the show include the "Touch Of Dutch" spots, where I'll play some of my favourite songs in the Dutch language, and "De Luister Liedje" - or "Listening Song", a song that tells a story, or contains a message.

Comments, requests and dedications, can be emailed to me via the station:

Surf Radio was one of Holland's first internet radio stations, and they have been broadcasting for many years. Programmes with English presenters is a relatively new development for the station, and I'm proud to be joined at Surf by fellow countrymen Brian Scott and Tony David.

As ever, my good friend Bill Elder has done a superb job in providing me with customised voice-overs for the new show.

I'd like to thank Peter Ford, Annoeska and WebTek, and everyone else at Surf Radio for their warm and friendly welcome, and for all their help and encouragement.
